You know that feeling when you walk into your own kitchen after it’s been repainted? Everything still works the way it always has, the kettle’s in the same spot, but it feels different, lighter, somehow.

That’s what we’re hoping you feel today. Know Your Dosh now looks different. New logo, refreshed colours, a redesigned app that’s easier on the eye and, we think, a bit more like us. Not a stiff, spreadsheet-flavoured version of your finances. A calmer, friendlier place to keep track of your dosh.

Nothing about how you use the app is changing overnight. Your data’s exactly where you left it. But we’ve spent months making the experience feel more like a conversation with a mate than a meeting with your bank manager, and this is the visible part of that work.

Why we did this

Money conversations are hard enough without your app making them harder. Cold colours, dense numbers, judgmental red alerts. We built Know Your Dosh to be the opposite of that – a shared, honest view of your household’s dosh that doesn’t lecture anyone.

The old design did the job. It just didn’t always feel like us. So we rebuilt it from the colours up, with the same goal we started with – to make it easier for families to talk about money, together, without the awkwardness.

And of course, there is much more to come.

Say hello to your Doshboard

First thing you’ll notice is that your Dashboard has a new name. It’s now called your Doshboard.

Yes, it’s a bit of a pun. We’re not sorry. It still does exactly what it did before: one screen, your whole household’s dosh, all in one place. Every account, every balance, everyone who’s part of it. The name’s just catching up to what you’ve always called it in your head.

Meet Daily Dosh

Alongside the new look, we’re launching something genuinely new: Daily Dosh.

It’s a simple daily feed of your recent transactions, where you can quickly confirm or tweak the categories we’ve assigned for you. Coffee run gets filed under coffee, not “restaurants”. Takes seconds, and it means your household’s spending picture gets sharper every day instead of turning into a guessing game at month end.

Alongside it, you’ll start seeing Dosh Insights: small, useful nudges about your spending patterns. Nothing preachy, no red flags shouting at you. Just the kind of thing a sharp-eyed friend might mention over the aforementioned coffee. “You’ve spent more on takeaways this week” isn’t a telling-off. It’s just something worth knowing.

We built Daily Dosh because keeping track of your dosh shouldn’t feel like homework. A minute a day, and you’re on top of it.

Getting your new look

If you use Know Your Dosh on the web, you don’t need to do anything. Log in today and it’ll just be there.

If you’re on iOS or Android, you’ll need to update the app through the App Store or Google Play to see the new design and get Daily Dosh. It’s a normal update, nothing complicated, just don’t skip it or you’ll be stuck looking at the old version wondering where your own Doshboard went.

Still the same Know Your Dosh

The colours are new. The logo is new. Doshboard has a new name. But what we’re actually here for hasn’t moved an inch: helping your household see your dosh clearly, talk about it honestly, and feel less alone in managing it.
