1 min read

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Know Your Dosh has been shortlisted for the Startup of the Year Award at the prestigious Plus X Innovation Slough Changemaker Awards. This recognition marks a significant moment in our journey as a young company dedicated to helping families across the UK take control of their finances.

What Is the Startup of the Year Award?

The Startup of the Year Award celebrates Slough’s newest businesses—those making waves, setting benchmarks for innovation, and delivering meaningful impact. The judges are looking for companies that:

– Have gained significant market traction

– Demonstrate entrepreneurial excellence and forward-thinking ideas

– Have a clear and measurable impact on society

To qualify, businesses must have been trading for less than two years—exactly where we are, and what a journey it’s been!

Why This Means So Much?

When we started Know Your Dosh, our mission was simple: to make financial conversations easier and provide families with the tools they need to organise, share, and secure their financial information.

This nomination is more than just recognition of our hard work—it’s a moment to reflect on the strides we’ve made:

– Supporting families in planning for the future with confidence.

– Creating tools that simplify the often complex world of financial management.

– Empowering families to have those much-needed conversations about money, legacies, and security.

Being shortlisted alongside other incredible businesses in Slough is an honour, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our users, partners, and community.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been part of the Know Your Dosh journey so far. From our incredible team to the families who trust us with their financial organisation and planning, this nomination belongs to all of you.
